1.2 C'est La Vie - A day In The Life of a Winkler

Welcome back to C'est La Vie. There was a small update yesterday, when and I was very nervous to see if it would affect my mods. It didn't seem to, so on with the show. Let's see what the Winkler's are up to.

When we last left off Bea had just came home from giving birth to her new baby, Kaylee. She looks like a sweet little blue angel. (Note to self, look into wing CC)

Meanwhile, daddy Cannon was passed out. Poor thing, he exhausted himself freaking out in the hospital.

And new big sister Eva takes advantage of the alone time to get up to some trouble downstairs.

After nursing the baby, Mama Bea is famished, and heads downstairs to get some left-overs. Will naughty Eva get caught in the act?

But no, she slipped away just in time. Bea is too tired and hungry to deal with this right now.

EVa immediately takes the opportunity to check out her new sibling.

That look is terrifying.

She immediately bursts into tears.

She heads to her room to cry alone.

Poor sweetie.

After calming down a bit she tries to talk to her mom about her feelings.

But at that moment, Kaylee starts crying, and Bea leaves Eva alone to go check on her.

Eva feels a bit better after a talk with her dad.

Let's cool down from the drama a little and take a look at the girls new room make-overs. Eva got the blue room to match the clothes she aged up in. And Kaylee got the pink room to match the bassinet she came home from the hospital in. I don't usually decorate much, but I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Eva immediately went upstairs to play with her new toys.

Before long it's time for Bea to head back to work. She says a quick hello To her co-workers.

Their names were too complicated for me to remember. Not sorry.

And speaks with her robot to get some ideas for what to work on today.

She enjoys speaking to him more than humans.

Inventor robot suggests she start building a rocket. Bea thinks this is a great idea and get's right to it.

And I work on my stealthy plumbot hiding photography.

Before long she get's hungry and wonders if a food replacement serum will really work.

Spoiler: It doesn't. So she heads to the break room for some real food instead.

If you can call a microwave pastry real food. Also, can you guess which of these chairs got hit with the transform ray?

While on break, she convinces a few co-workers to try out some of her other serums she's concocted.

She's eager to see the results.

After work Bea's best (and only) friend comes to visit, and immediately starts helping out in the garden.

I forgot her name. Let's call her Christi for now.

Justin (I think his last name is Long. . . I'm really going to have to do better), has also come over to visit. The Winkler house is really the place to be.

Justin meets Christi, and looks smitten. She is pretty, but wait, isn't he married to some townie?

Do I smell romance brewing?

Bea is also feeling a bit flirty.

Look at them curves. Mamacita is booty-licious.

Before she can get something started with her husband, Cannon goes to check on Eva.

She looks mad.

She pulls some scary faces.

I have a feeling this one will be a handful.

Eva heads off to cause some chaos, but this time she gets caught in the act.

After a stern talking-to, Daddy Cannon calms Eva down with a stern talking to, and a bubble bath before putting her to bed.

That was a day in the life of the Winkler family.

After I closed the game down I looked at the rules again, and discovered I was technically cheating by having their expanded life-spans through Master Controller. I went ahead and took out all my two mods, for now. I'll see how I feel about it after a little more game play.

Next time on C'est La Vie, will Eva keep pulling scary faces. Will she grow up to be a sociopathic serial killer? Will she murder her one and only baby sister? Join up on the next update to find out.

Went to look for where it said in the rule's lifespans have to be normal, but I couldn't find it. Maybe it was a different guide. Also there is a point system, but I couldn't find that either, so I guess I won't be using it. I'll just try my best to follow the the objectives and goals as well as I can, and move on. Happy simming!

  1. Loving the family so far :D There aren't actually any rules about the sims lifespans or a point system best part about the DITFT challenge is you just need to follow the objectives. (just incase i'm cmbaker16 off the sims fourms thanks for giving my sims 4 version of the challenge a go :D looking forward to more :D )
